Former Spartak player Ivanov: “I worked at the factory for five years”

Former Spartak midfielder Oleg Ivanov talked about how he used to work at a factory in Finland.

“A Haka buddy is calling.” He says there’s a vacancy at the plant – a person has left on disability – would I like to try myself as a metalworking worker? I thought: “Cool!” The next day at six in the morning I went on shift. And I worked at this plant for five years,” Ivanov quotes “Championship”.

Let us remember that Ivanov played for Spartak from 1989 to 1991. Also in the footballer’s career were Dynamo and a number of Finnish clubs. Note that the Russian football player is a four-time champion of Finland.
