The Roma player spoke about Bayer's comeback in the Europa League semi-finals

Roma footballer Lorenzo Pellegrini commented on his team’s departure from the Europa League following a two-game confrontation with Bayer Leverkusen. The return match ended in a 2:2 draw, and in the first match the Germans won 2:0.

“It’s not easy to comment on something now, we knew it would be difficult after the first lost match. Bayer is a very strong opponent. Roma tried until the end, and we are close to victory. This is a big disappointment for us, but we need to recover and prepare for other matches,” the UEFA press service reports the player’s words.

Bayer will play against Atalanta in the Europa League final.
