Demenko explained why Zenit will not kick Fernandez out

Former Zenit St. Petersburg football player Maxim Demenko responded to the injury of team defender Mario Fernandez. The player is out until the end of this season.

“Fernandez has a Russian passport, he can cover the flank, so I think that Zenit will not kick him out in the summer. Mario will get his last chance and somehow finish out the contract,” the expert quotes “RB Sport”.

This season, Fernandez has played 12 matches in the Russian Premier League. The term of the current labor agreement between the defender and the “blue-white-blue” is calculated until mid-2025.
