The Trespoux Tennis Club is celebrating!

Also results of tournaments and Challenges.

It was tennis festival this Saturday June 8 at the Trespoux Tennis Club and what a great party! Under the leadership of Pierre Ledoux, a state tennis graduate, 18 children and a few teenagers were able to play games and activities around the yellow ball. The youngest were supervised by Pascal Wirtz, educator at TC Trespoux, with games more appropriate to their ages. Young and old had the joy of testing the club's ball launcher which had been brought out for the occasion, with challenges included. This beautiful sunny afternoon ended, as usual, with a snack offered by the club and the distribution of well-deserved medals by President Monique Andral to the future budding champions. Like last year, members, licensees and former members of the club had the pleasure of meeting around a drink, then a shared meal as well as a grill which was offered by the club.

> The bravest members of the club left the next morning, after a short night's sleep, on the tennis courts, towards the tournaments and Challenges.

Claire Egner and Aurore Ferrari represented the club at the TMC in Prayssac. It was a great tournament for Claire who won 2 of her 3 matches of the day. The course was a little more strewn with pitfalls for Aurore but satisfied to have been able to hold off her opponents of the day with close games.

The mixed team, for its part, traveled to Vayrac to compete in the 1/2 final of the Christian Maury challenge. Frédérick Heliès (30/5) dropped the 1st point for the TCT against Vayracois Denis Barbier (30/1) who logically won 6-2 / 6-3. In singles 2, captain Trespouzienne Mélanie Potel (30/3) signed the great performance of the day against Cécile Théron (30/1), after a marathon match of more than 2 hours which she won 7-5/6 -4. Finally in the single 3, it was Laurent Perez (30/1) who was lined up for the TCT, he was opposed to the just adult Jules Ferrie (30/1). After a perfect tie on the scoreboard at 1 set everywhere, Laurent benefited from the abandonment of his opponent, for health reasons. The double Trespouzien who saw the same composition which was opposed to Sousceyrac at the end of May; Céline Baynat was associated with Laurent Perez. This time, the Trespouzian double was less successful, losing to Vayrac captain Sylvie Bertron who played with Denis Barbier in 2 sets. The Trespoux Tennis Club let Vayrac slip away in the final by losing 3-2, the latter will meet the Souillac Tennis Club 3 team next Sunday in Gramat in the final of the Challenge Maury.
