CHRIS STAPLETON – FIVE NOMINATIONS

Stapleton leads the CMA Awards this year with five, adding to his previous 11 nominations and seven victories. He calls his third consecutive nod to Best Actor of the Year, in addition to the nominations in the Single and Song of the Year categories for “Broken Halos”, aired by Dave Cobb and Stapleton, mixed by Vance Powell and written by Mike Henderson and Stapleton.
Stapleton obtains his third nomination for the album of the year of the room: Volume 2, sent by Cobb and Stapleton. Previously he won an album for his first two solo albums of Traveler, awarded in 2015, and “From the Room: Volume 1”, awarded in 2017. Stapleton also received his fourth consecutive nomination as “male vocalist of the year”, a category in the one that remains undefeated, winning the last three years.
DANN HUFF – FOUR NOMINATIONS

The producer and musician Dann Huff won the second nomination, receiving four nominations for his work behind the scenes with several artists. Huff is a candidate in 31 times with three previous victories for the Musician of the Year and two previous victories of the “One Year”. This year, he is re-elected in both categories.
Her nomination for the Midland production of The Drinkin’s Challenge gives Huff her sixth nomination in this category. He also assigns two albums for the Year of the Year to his films Keith Urban and Graffiti U and The Life Change of Thomas Rett. Huff receives the 18th nomination in the category “Musician of the year”, which he won for the last time in 2016.

This year, Aldean gets two nominations with Miranda Lambert for “Unity of the Year” along with producer Michael Knox and mix engineer Jeff Brown and Musical Event of the Year for their collaboration “Stokes the Whiskey.” Aldean has two previous nominations for a musical event, winning in 2011 for her song “I do not want to meet you” with Kelly Clarkson, as well as two nominations for “Single”.
DIERKS BENTLEY – THREE NOMINATIONS
Album of the year (The Mountain), male vocalist of the year, musical event of the year (“Burning Man”)
Dirks Bentley wins his sixth album of the year nomination with the producers Ross Kopperman, John Randall Stewart and Arturo Buenahora Jr., and also marks his fifth nomination in the nomination for the Male Singer of the Year.
He also has a gesture of approval with Brother Osborne for the musical event of the year for his collaboration, Burning Man, the third Bentley nomination in this category. He won the Music Event in 2016 for the song “Different for Girls” (Feat Elle King). With nominations this year, Bentley has 24 career nominations.
