Inter scored 5 goals against Frosinone

Having lost to Sassuolo in the last round, Inter made amends on Friday and left no chance for another Serie A outsider, Frosinone. Mathias Soule almost opened the scoring with a long-range strike, and the goalkeeper had difficulty coping with the rebound off the turf. Inter, under pressure, took the ball, a series of passes, and Davide Frattesi sent the ball into the net with his knee point-blank. Yann Sommer was clearly nervous today, but he neutralized the blows with grief. Walid Kheddirah almost equalized but hit the crossbar. Yann-Aurel Bissek finished the cross from the corner of the field – the crossbar. And yet the outsiders lasted only an hour. Frattesi played well under Marko Arnautovic's shot, and the veteran doubled the score. Tazhon Bushanan rushed towards the goal from the left flank, dealt with the defender and became the author of the third goal. Soon, the defender made a gross mistake after a cross into the hosts' penalty area, and Lautaro Martinez shot into the goal. Marcus Thuram received the ball from deep in the field, found himself one on one with the keeper and threw it over – 0:5.

Inter increased their lead over Milan to 21 points. The opponent shares fourth place from the bottom, having a two-point margin from the relegation zone.
