Como returns to Serie A after 21 years away

Como achieved promotion to Serie A at the end of the current season.

The team from the city of the same name finished second in Serie B and won a direct ticket to the top division after Parma. In the last round, Como drew with Cosenza (1:1), which allowed them to be three points ahead of Venice, which also claimed direct promotion.

Como will play in Serie A for the first time since the 2002/03 season – then the team took penultimate 17th place.

It is noteworthy that Cesc Fabregas works on the club’s coaching staff, and one of the investors is Thierry Henry.

The third and final ticket to Serie A will be played in the playoffs between the teams that took places from third to eighth in the completed regular Serie B competition.
