The Mézidon-Vallée-d’Auge Tennis Club will have a busy summer

Saturday 1er June 2024 took place the first orange tournament of the Tennis Club of Mézidon-Vallée-d'Auge (Calvados) in which sixteen children aged 6 to 10 years classified at orange level participated. “In recent years, tennis teaching has changed to adapt the judo model with children classified by color: white, purple, red, orange, green and yellow,” explains Anthony Poidevin, president of the tennis club. So each color corresponds to an increasingly smaller and harder ball model and an increasingly larger terrain, “which allows children to progress step by step”. The president is satisfied with this first, “a real success since the table was complete”. Other satisfaction: “We have entered five teams this year with an additional women's team and we have 148 members at the club this year compared to 126 last year, an increase of 20%. »
