UFC – Huge controversy after Nassourdine Imavov’s victory: “Fight ruined by…

Nassourdine Imavov headlined this Saturday at the UFC. Opposing the terror Jared Cannonier, the Sniper did the job by winning by TKO in the 4th round. But for many spectators, this victory was stolen!

This Saturday in Kentucky, Nassourdine Imavov faced the biggest test of his career. He was in fact opposed to the American Jared Cannonier, No. 4 in the ranking and former contender for the belt then held by Israel Adesanya. He knew it before stepping into the cage, a victory would allow him to enter the Top 5 middleweights and therefore take a step forward.

Put in difficulty by his opponent in certain sequences, the French finally managed to win by TKO during the 4th round. The problem is that this finish was not sparkling clean, and for many Internet users, the Sniper's victory is ultimately not so deserved. We couldn't dream of a worse scenario in terms of success…

Nassourdine Imavov’s victory called into question!

On a big counter, Nassourdine Imavov managed to shake Jared Cannonier. Except that for some, fans and other UFC fighters, the American was not manhandled enough to justify the referee's stoppage. Even worse, because he is known to gain strength in the rounds, while the Frenchman tires, voices are raised to affirm that Cannonier was deprived of a certain victory.

The referee, why are you stopping this stupid fight?! The fight was ruined by a premature stoppage. Cannonier was clearly conscious and moving to regain his senses. He wasn't knocked to the ground once!

What the shutdown was premature

I feel bad for Imavov, he was going to win no matter what, but now people are going to say he stole from Cannonier.

Nassourdine Imavov's victory, even though he was ahead on points according to the judges, was questioned by many fans and other UFC fighters. No matter, the essentials are assured, on to the Top 5!
