The pompous Vegas Grand Prix, in which Formula 1 invested a lot of money, began with problems in terms of organizing races.
The first practice was canceled just 10 minutes after the start, as the sewer manhole grate broke. After many attempts at repairs, F1 canceled the training session.
The second practice was in jeopardy, but still started very late. The Ferrari duo Charles Leclerc – Carlos Sainz was the fastest in it. The top 3 was completed by Fernando Alonso.
Qualifying will take place on Saturday morning, starting at 10:00.
