A shameful defeat. Ukraine U-19 lost to Kosovo
The Ukrainian youth football team lost to Kosovo (0:4) in a qualifying match for Euro 2024.
In the 22nd minute of the match, Elvir Gashiyani opened the scoring. For a missed goal Oleg Kuznetsov reacted with a triple substitution during the break, but Derkach, Salenko and Mykytyuk, who came on instead of Kremchanin, Mykhailiv and Vashchenko, could not change the course of the meeting.
In the 64th minute, Eliot Buyupi doubled the Kosovars’ lead, and 15 minutes later, Elvir Gashiyani scored a double. Elmedin Rama finished off Ukraine with a goal in the 90th+2nd minute.
Qualification for Euro 2024 U-19. Group 7. 2nd round.
