As Sport.ua learned, during the November break in the UPL championship, Oleksandriya’s players in their home country prevailed in a control match over LNZ – 2:0.
According to our source, the rivalry took place in a somewhat unusual format: four halves of 30 minutes each, so that the coaches of both teams had the opportunity to involve all the players. Although, due to injuries, the leading performers were unable to take part in the sparring: Alexandrians Kirill Kovalets, Vladislav Kalitvintsev and Cherkasy resident Ivan Kalyuzhny.
“LNZ” is still in tenth place in the UPL championship, having scored 16 points and will play away against “Vorskla” on November 25, and “Alexandria” has 13 points, it is in 13th place and on November 26 it will try to improve its position in the home match with “ Obolon.”
Previously, the UPL directorate approved the dates and start times for matches of the 16th and 17th rounds of the UPL season 2023/24.
