Armenia Petrakova missed out on victory over Wales in qualifying for Euro 2024

The Armenian national team of Alexander Petrakov missed out on a home victory over the Welsh team in the key qualifying match for Euro 2024. The Armenians took the lead early, but lost the advantage due to an own goal by Nair Tiknizyan at the end of the first half.

This draw leaves Armenia only theoretical chances of qualifying for Euro 2024. Today the Croatian national team will play away against Latvia (the match starts at 19:00 Kyiv time). If the Croats win, Petrakov’s team will de jure lose its chances of qualifying for Euro 2024.
