Bayern Munich are looking for opportunities to strengthen their central defender position and have turned their attention to the Manchester United and French national team player Raphael Varane.
Despite the Red Devils’ hospital being overcrowded, Rafael has dropped out of the team’s starting XI and is unhappy with his current position at the club, so a move to Munich may interest him.
As journalist Florian Plettenberg reports on his Twitter, Bayern will have to pay from 20 to 30 million euros for the transfer of Varane (the rental option is not being considered at this stage). However, the Munich club may be scared off by the Frenchman’s salary – at Manchester United his annual salary is almost 20 million euros.
