Charles Leclerc beautifully takes pole in Vegas, Ferrari dominates the track

Top 10: Leclerc, Sainz (+10 penalty positions), Verstappen, Russell, Gasly, Albon, Sargent, Bottas, Magnussen, Alonso

Qualifying for the Vegas Grand Prix took place. The race on the street track was confidently won by Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, who was ahead of teammate Carlos Sainz. However, the Spaniard will only start 12th due to a penalty for replacing the engine.

The top 3 was completed by Max Verstappen, who will start the race behind Leclerc due to Sainz’s penalty.

Before qualifying, the drivers had only two practice sessions to get to know the track, so the battle for pole was expected to be unpredictable.

Williams managed to finish in the top 10 with two cars. Sergio Perez and Lewis Hamilton failed to reach the top 10. Let us note the failure of McLaren, who failed to make it out of the first qualifying segment with two cars.
