Chelsea and Man City could be relegated from the Premier League to the Championship. What’s happened?

English grand clubs “Manchester city” And Chelsea are at risk of relegation from the Premier League after Everton’s 10-point penalty set a powerful precedent.
The Toffees were shocked by the punishment, which sent them to the bottom of the table, and plan to appeal.
Manchester City face 115 breaches of Premier League financial rules and Chelsea could face scrutiny over payments linked to former owner Roman Abramovich.
Lawyer Stefan Borson, who advised City, commented on the Everton news on Twitter: “Having not seen the decision to award a 10 point penalty to Everton, I believe this was for a direct breach of FFP (Financial Fair Play).
But it confirms that sanctions against Man City (if proven) and now Chelsea (if they are charged and found guilty in relation to unaccounted payments) could potentially lead to relegation from the Premier League to the Championship. .
Ukrainian winger Mikhail Mudrik plays for Chelsea, Alexander Zinchenko played for Man City for a long time before moving to Arsenal, and Vitaly Mykolenko is the left back of Everton.
Without seeing the judgment/award -10 points for Everton feels harsh for a straightforward FFP breach to me. But reinforces that sanctions against City (if proven) and now Chelsea (if charged and admitted on the off-books payments) will be potentially relegation inducing.

A glimpse here from today’s judgment as to why the City case takes so long (so much longer than Everton). Everton was really a relatively vanilla P&S breach case over the short period in question.
City’s case is 10x more complex/voluminous. It has many more moving parts, more… pic.twitter.com/8nO5TY02z2
