Head coach of the Italian national team Luciano Spalletti commented on the match against Ukraine (0:0).

“We played well – we had a lot of opportunities to score in the first half. Then when we failed to score a goal the match became more physical. We needed to keep the ball well in the opposing half of the field. Congratulations to Ukraine, which created trouble for us.

I was born and raised in football. I thanked everyone after the final whistle because we were all determined to achieve this result. Now the level is rising, and the best is yet to come,” Luciano Spalletti is quoted as saying by the official UEFA website.
