Denis Kozhanov will not play this year
Today, the 18th round of the Second League ended with a match between Karpaty-2 and Skala 1911, in which the Lviv players prevailed – 2:1.
As Sport.ua learned, the 36-year-old Karpaty-2 captain, as in the previous match against Chaika, was absent from the green-white team. Denis Kozhanov.
According to our source, recently during training the veteran experienced discomfort in his hip and therefore it was decided not to risk his health. Everything is heading towards the fact that Denis Kozhanov will not play in the last round of the first part of the season in the Second League – with FC YUKSA. Although today and in Kyiv on November 24 he will be present in the role of one of the coaches of “Karpaty-2”.
With fairly significant breaks, Denis Kozhanov has been with Karpaty since January 2008. This season he played 13 matches for Karpaty-2 in the Second League and scored three goals.
