Djokovic won the ATP Finals for the seventh time, taking revenge on Sinner

On November 19, the final match took place at the ATP Final Tournament 2023, which is held on indoor hard surfaces in Turin (Italy).

Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner (ATP 4) failed to beat world number one Novak Djokovic (Serbia) for the second time in a week.

Final ATP tournament.

Novak Djokovic (Serbia) – Jannik Sinner (Italy) – 6:3, 6:3

This was the 6th meeting of tennis players. The score became 5:1 in favor of Novak.

Novak and Yannick played each other in the 2nd round of the Green Group, then the Italian tennis player celebrated the victory in three sets. It is curious that in the third round Sinner could have lost to Holger Rune and unhooked Novak, but he won in three games.

Djokovic defended his last year’s title and now has a record 7 victories at the final championship. The Serbian lost only twice in this tournament in the title fight.

After Novak won the opening match at the ATP Finals against Holger Rune, it became known that he would end the year as number one for the eighth time. This is a record figure.
