Euro 2024 qualification. North Macedonia and England part ways peacefully

The national teams of North Macedonia and England played out peacefully following the results of the final match in Group C of the Euro 2024 qualification.

At the end of the first half, England were awarded a penalty for a foul by Rico Lewis on Bojana Miovski. Enis Bardi took the shot, but his shot was saved by English goalkeeper Jordan Pickford. But Bardi himself was the first to finish, and the teams went into the break with a minimal advantage for the hosts.

England equalized just after the break, but after a VAR review the goal was disallowed. And less than ten minutes after Jack Grealish’s strike, the ball from Yani Atanasov hit the hosts’ goal. This goal has already been counted.
