Forward of the Italian national team and Roma Stefan El Shaarawy shared his expectations from the decisive Euro 2024 qualifying match against the Ukrainian national team:
“We were very prepared for the game against North Macedonia. Yes, we conceded twice, but the most important thing is our reaction to the goals we conceded. We didn’t give up and immediately scored 2 more goals to close the game.
I don’t know if I’ll start in Ukraine, but we’re all ready for the match. Everything is at stake. We need to be much more decisive than today, because everything is at stake. We will need to play very carefully.”
The decisive qualifying match for Euro 2024 between the national teams of Ukraine and Italy will take place on November 20 in Leverkusen, Germany at the BayArena stadium (starts at 21:45 Kyiv time).
