On November 17, Warsaw hosted a qualifying match for the 2024 European Championship in Group E between the national teams of Poland and the Czech Republic.
The home team, led by Robert Lewandowski, only needed a victory. Only she left the Polish team in the fight for the final second place, which will allow them to go to Germany next summer.
To the disappointment of the Poles and the joy of the Czechs, the match brought a 1:1 draw.
In the Group E table, the Albanian team is in 1st place (14 points), the Czech Republic is in second place (12). Poland is in 3rd position (11 points) and has already finished the fight. The 4th place is taken by the Moldavian team (10 points), followed by the Faroe team (1 points).
On November 20, Albania will host the Faroe Islands, and the Czech Republic will play against Moldova.
