Bayern striker Harry Kane within three months in the new team he became an influential figure both on and off the field.
According to The Athletic, teammates rave about his confidence and genuine humility. Especially compared to Robert Lewandowski, who left for Barcelona.
“There was always a feeling that Lewandowski was doing this for himself and not for the club. For Kane, the main thing is the team’s victory. He is the perfect example for everyone else to follow with this attitude,” said one club source.
Confidence in Kane extends to Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel. He is one of the few Bayern players whom Tuchel regularly consults on tactics.
“He doesn’t talk much, but when he does, people listen,” the source added.
In the summer, Kane moved to the Bundesliga team from Tottenham Hotspur for 100 million euros. The 30-year-old has established himself in Germany straight away, scoring 17 goals in 11 domestic appearances and four goals in four Champions League matches.
