Ukrainian tennis player Alexey Krutykh (No. 237 ATP) made it to the base of the clay challenger in Valencia.

In the first round of selection, the Ukrainian beat Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili (No. 591 ATP), and in the final – Maxime Janvier (No. 288 ATP) from France.

In the first round of the main event, the Ukrainian’s opponent will be Bulgarian Adrian Andreev (No. 262 ATP).
