New WBO cruiserweight champion Chris Billam-Smith celebrates with family and friends

Backstage at the Vitality Stadium in Bournemouth, Chris Billam-Smith celebrates his victory as the new WBO cruiserweight world champion.

The 32-year-old defeated fellow British fighter Lawrence Okolie by majority decision after 12 exhilarating rounds.

At the halfway point of the fight, he knocked Okolie three times to the ground, taking away two points from him.

At the AFC Bournemouth stadium, the home of his favorite Premier League football team, 15,000 spectators watched the fight.
