The Dutch men's singles national champion will bring 15 years of top tournament experience to the team, who will attempt to improve on last year's third-place finish.
“I am looking forward to playing for University of Nottingham Badminton in the NBL,” said Pang.
“I think we have a great team and one that can go for the title”.
Pang, a former World No 12, has won titles across Europe, including the 2012 Dutch Open and 2014 Croatian International singles crowns.
The 33-year-old is the fourth Dutch star to compete in the NBL, following compatriots Eefje Muskens, Koen Ridder and Soraya De Visch Eljbergen.
