Saudi Al-Ittihad has decided on a new head coach.
The club from Jeddah is headed by 47-year-old Argentinean Marcelo Gallardo. As previously reported, the contract is valid for one and a half years, until June 2025, with the possibility of its extension until 2027. “A new era, higher goals with Mr. Gallardo at the helm,” is how the club’s social networks introduced the specialist.
Let us remember that Marcelo Gallardo’s last place of work was River Plate, which he headed from 2014 to 2022. With the Argentine team, Marcelo twice won the main trophy of South America – the Copa Libertadores.
