OFFICIALLY. Fernandinho extends contract with Atlético Paranaense for a year

The 38-year-old ex-Shakhtar and Manchester City midfielder Fernandinho, as previously reported, will continue to actively play in the ranks of his current club Atlético Paranaense.

The veteran extended his contract with the “red-blacks” for another season – until the end of 2024.

Fernandinho returned to Atletico Paranaense, which is the footballer’s home club, last summer when his contract with Manchester City expired.

This season, the midfielder played 48 matches in all competitions, scoring 4 goals and 6 assists.
