Polesie lost its defender until the end of the year

Polesie defender Evgeniy Morozko suffered a shoulder injury on November 11 in the UPL match against Metalist 1925 (2:1 win). He was replaced already in the 24th minute.

According to UPL-TV, Morozko’s injury turned out to be quite serious, he will need surgery, which will take place in the coming days. He will not play again in the 2023 calendar year.

This season, 30-year-old Morozko took part in 6 matches for Polesie: 5 in the UPL and 1 in the Ukrainian Cup.
