Real Madrid have lost Vinicius Junior until the end of the year
23 year old Vinicius Junior was injured in the 2026 World Cup qualifying match against Colombia (1:2). After a rough tackle by Davinson Sanchez, the Brazilian left the field midway through the first half.
In a comment immediately after the game, Vinicius noted that he was worried about the same injury as before and expressed hope that he would be able to help the team in the match against Argentina on November 22.
But an in-depth medical examination diagnosed Vinicius Junior with a hamstring injury – he has already returned to Madrid. According to doctors, Junior will not be able to take the field this year.
Note that earlier in the French national team Eduardo Camavinga was injured, who was also out until the end of the year.
