Head coach of the Ukrainian national football team Sergey Rebrov spoke about the decisive match of the Euro 2024 qualification against the Italian national team.
“I think we have a good chance. This match will be different from the one at San Siro because tomorrow we will have our fans. Almost the entire stadium will support us. I remember our match against Germany, which we played in Bremen – there was very solid support among the Ukrainians, and tomorrow, I’m sure, it will be the same. This will change the psychology of the players, because when you come to a packed San Siro and a stadium where they fully support you, these are different things. This will give more motivation to the players. I’m sure we have good chances.
I always tell players: there is no need to be afraid of losing – it is more important to be afraid of not doing enough to win the match. And tomorrow we will show all our strengths and do our best,” said Rebrov.
On November 20 at 21:45 in Leverkusen, Germany, the match of the 10th round of Euro 2024 qualification between the national teams of Ukraine and Italy will take place.
