The authoritative English portal FourFourTwo has named its version of the ranking of the best midfielders of the 2000s. Previously, the publication identified the best defenders of the 2000s.
Journalists of the publication put the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo in first place, who played for Sporting, Manchester United and Real Madrid during this time period. The second place was taken by the Frenchman Zinedine Zidane, the third – by Andrei Shevchenko’s ex-partner at Milan, the Brazilian Kaka.
