Sevilla is negotiating a contract extension with the team’s midfielder Ivan Rakitic. This is reported by insider Nicolo Skira.
According to him, the new agreement will be valid until the summer of 2025. Rakitic’s current contract expires at the end of June 2024.
Rakitic played for Sevilla from 2011 to 2014 and returned to the team in 2020 after six years at Barcelona. This season, the 35-year-old midfielder has 2 goals and 1 assist in 16 matches for Sevilla in all competitions.
