The famous Italian striker retired at the age of 40

Famous Italian forward Fabio Quagliarella announced his retirement. The 40-year-old player was a free agent after last season and did not find a new team.

The striker has played for Sampdoria for the last 8 seasons. In addition, he played for Udinese, Napoli, Juventus and Torino. The best season was 2018/19, in which Quagliarella scored 26 league goals.

In total, he has 242 goals in Serie A. As part of the Italian national team, Fabio played 28 matches and scored 9 goals.
