
The national teams of Brazil and Chile became the last participants in the United Cup team tournament.
Brazil, which will feature world No. 11 Beatrice Haddad Maia and No. 80 Thiago Seyboth Wild, are drawn into Group A with Poland and Spain.
As part of the Chilean national team, No. 19 Nicholas Harry and No. 662 Daniela Segel will compete in the tournament. They were drawn into Group B with Greece and Canada.
The competition will be held in the Australian cities of Perth and Sydney from December 29 to January 7. The United Cup will feature a prize fund of US$9.5 million and ATP and WTA ranking points (maximum 500).
18 teams will be divided into 6 groups. Each match match will consist of three games: men’s singles, women’s singles and mixed doubles.
Last season, the United States team became the first champions of the United Cup, defeating the Italian team in the final.
