The match with Italy became an anniversary for several players of the Ukrainian national team
The match with Italy (0:0) was the 50th for Viktor Tsygankov in the ranks of the Ukrainian national team. In 43 games he represented Dynamo in the country’s main team, and in 7 games he represented the Spanish Girona. Victor took to the field 17 times in the European Championships, 13 in friendly matches, 12 in the Nations League and 8 in the World Championships. In 30 matches, Tsygankov was used by Andrey Shevchenko, in 13 by Alexander Petrakov, in 6 by Sergey Rebrov and in 1 by Ruslan Rotan.
By the way, the game with the Italians turned out to be an anniversary for two more Ukrainian football players – Efim Konoplya and Anatoly Trubin, who played their 10th match for the national squad.
