Shakhtar’s physical training coach Carlo Nicolini, speaking with Italian journalists, praised the Pitmen’s midfielder Georgiy Sudakov, but especially singled out Artem Bondarenko, calling him the strongest Ukrainian in the team.
“Sudakov will reach a high level. He received compliments from Xavi, wears number 10 in the national team, works hard. In this sense, he is similar to Mudrik. However, the strongest Ukrainian is Bondarenko. Soon he will be in the national team. He has technical qualities that very few people have,” Nicolini said.
23-year-old Bondarenko played 10 matches for Shakhtar this season, in which he scored 1 goal and 3 assists.
Artem Bondarenko has not yet played a single match for the Ukrainian national team.
