When Dvalishvili reacted to Welch, he was admonished by Dean, prompting Dvalishvili’s cornerman Aljamain Sterling to protest, “[Welch is] speaking to him, Herb! He’s speaking to him! Herb, Herb, he’s speaking to him! He’s speaking to him, Herb!”
Dean then replied, “Do your job, I’ll do mine.”
“That’s our callout, sir, for him,” Welch defined within the second.
Welch spoke concerning the incident after the battle and stated he didn’t really feel he did something towards the foundations.
