26-year-old Italy midfielder Nicolo Barella shared his expectations from the decisive Euro 2024 qualifying match against the Ukrainian national team.
“Ukraine has excellent players. They are fast with great technique. However, we proved at San Siro that they struggle when we control the ball, so we must strive for that in tomorrow’s game.
Ukraine is a strong team, but we are aware of our qualities and want to defend the European title, which we deservedly won. To do this we need to play with confidence,” said Barrella.
