Sushil Kumar Shukla, a labourer by career, claimed he was carrying an invite for his daughter’s birthday on the time of the incident. He acknowledged that he was neither on a motorbike nor utilizing any automobile, but a challan was issued in opposition to him for not sporting a helmet. Shukla subsequently filed a grievance with the SP, who was equally stunned upon listening to the matter.
Ajaygarh police station’s in-charge additionally expressed disbelief, stating that it was illogical to difficulty a challan to a pedestrian for not sporting a helmet. With a proper grievance being lodged, an investigation into the incident has been initiated.
