The race took place as part of the Vegas Grand Prix. The victory was won by Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, who started second but overtook Charles Leclerc in the first turn. At the same time, Max passed Leclerc with a violation and received a 5-second penalty, and before the first pit stop, Charles overtook his opponent and regained the lead.
However, in the second part of the race Verstappen was faster and in the fight with the Ferrari driver again became the leader. Not a bad fight between the Bulls and the Scuderia.
Finishing third was Sergio Perez, who, thanks to the safety car, even managed to lead the race. It is worth highlighting the Mexican’s breakthrough from 11th place at the start. Perez was second at the end of the race, but Leclerc beautifully passed his opponent on the last lap.
Sergio guaranteed himself second place in the overall standings at the end of the season.
