The Ukrainian national football team continues preparations for the last qualifying match for the 2024 European Championship against Italy.
After training in the snow on an open field, the players moved indoors, where they played a game known among football players – tennis-ball.
The rules of the game are the same as in table tennis, but with some adjustments. Firstly, football players play 2 on 2. Secondly, instead of a tennis ball, a soccer ball is used. Thirdly, not rackets are used to hit the projectile, but all parts of the body except the hands.
The decisive qualifying match for Euro 2024 between the national teams of Ukraine and Italy will take place on November 20 in Leverkusen, Germany at the BayArena stadium (starts at 21:45 Kyiv time).
