England head coach Gareth Southgate shared his impressions of the match with North Macedonia (1:1).
“I think in both matches we were able to look at a lot of players and also tried to win. Usually you have to wait until March for this. We learned a lot from these two games at the end of the qualifier, which is an advantage for us.
Of course we would have liked to score more goals, but North Macedonia did pretty well. They drew with Italy, they make life difficult,” Gareth Southgate said on the BBC.
