Promoter Frank Warren, who represents the interests of British boxer Tyson Fury, who owns the WBC heavyweight belt, expressed his opinion regarding the likelihood of his client’s rematch with ex-UFC champion Francis Ngannou
“I think there is a good chance that there will be a rematch. Of course, it’s too early to talk about it. Let’s first deal with Alexander Usik. And then we’ll see how events develop. But I think there will be a second fight. Tyson told me he wants a rematch and I know Ngannou wants it too. After the fight we discussed this. Francis, by the way, is a good guy. He’s a really nice guy and has a good team around him. I am absolutely confident that there will be a rematch,” Warren said.
Let us remind you that Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou had a boxing match at the end of October this year, in which Fury won by decision, having been knocked down in the third round.
Tyson Fury previously admitted that he was depressed after the fight with Ngannou.
