Badosa, winners of Kerber Rome Masters Day 1; Osaka returns to marry Fognini and Shapovalov in action

The Rome Masters tournament kicked off on Tuesday with the first matches of the first round of the women's bracket. Among the highlights, former top five Paula Badosa beat 17-year-old Mirra Andreeva quite easily 6-2, 6-3.

Veteran Angelique Kerber also advanced with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Lauren Davis.
