Filtsov: “Perhaps it’s time for Matvey Safonov to try himself in Europe”

Former goalkeeper of Krasnodar and Lokomotiv Moscow Alexander Filtsov spoke about Matvey Safonov, the main goalkeeper of the Bulls, and discussed whether Matvey should go to Europe.

“If it’s a mediocre team from the European championship, then why change Krasnodar? He has a good team with good finances and infrastructure. In addition, he is a favorite of the public and leaders. But if there is a good offer from the first teams, then why not?” says Filtsov for “RB Sport”.

Safonov is the main goalkeeper of Krasnodar; this season he has played 27 matches, in which he conceded 24 goals and kept a clean sheet 10 times.
