PSV made a decision on Dest on loan from Barcelona

Full-back Sergino Dest will return to Barcelona after the end of the current season.

PSV could have bought out the 23-year-old footballer for an amount close to 10 million euros, but by the end of the campaign the American was seriously injured and was out until the end of the year. According to journalist Rick Elfrink, the Eindhoven club decided not to activate the option to buy Dest. It is likely that the Dutch champions will try to sign the player in January 2025 if his recovery is successful.

Sergino Dest's contract with Barcelona runs until the end of next season. In 37 matches for PSV, the lateral scored two goals and seven assists.
