Bayern head coach Thomas Tuchel spoke to reporters ahead of the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid. The specialist made it clear that Kim Mi Jae and Dayo Upamecano will not play in the center of defense from the first minutes.
It is worth recalling that Kim faced criticism after two errors in the first match (2:2 draw), after which Real Madrid scored. Upamecano was criticized earlier in the season.
“I think Kim and Upamecano are being criticized too much. Dier and de Ligt currently have the advantage. They deserve to play. Matthijs made it clear that he is ready,” Tuchel said.
