“Alania” has only one victory since the end of March – over “Kuban”

On Wednesday evening, Vladikavkaz “Alania” lost in a head-to-head meeting of Melbet-First League to “Rodina” from Moscow, a direct competitor – 1:2.

It is curious that over the last eight matches Alania has achieved only one victory in the championship – over the league outsider, Kuban (3:0). Otherwise, the North Ossetian club has four defeats and three draws since March 31. Moreover, the Leopards lost to such teams as Volgar, Chernomorets and Yenisei.

Failures could not but affect the standings. In it, Alania is now in ninth place with 42 points, the club is seven points behind the play-off zone.
